1. Who we are
Clinically Vulnerable Families ("CVF") is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company representing clinically vulnerable people and their households across the UK. As a CIC, CVF is asset-locked and operates for community benefit rather than private profit.
2. Using this Site
You may use this Site and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes, including to access information, resources, and updates about CVF's work. You must not use the Site in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that interferes with other users' access to it.
3. Our name, logo and intellectual property
"Clinically Vulnerable Families" and our logo are the property of Clinically Vulnerable Families CIC. These are currently unregistered trade marks, protected under common law, and our logo is also protected by copyright. You may share or quote our published content for non-commercial purposes provided you credit CVF and link back to the original source. You may not reproduce, republish, or use our reports, evidence submissions, or research for commercial purposes without our written consent.
4. Information on this Site is not medical advice
CVF publishes information relating to clinical vulnerability, infection risk, ventilation, and related health topics as part of our advocacy and awareness work. This information is provided for general awareness and campaigning purposes only and is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. You should always seek the advice of your GP, specialist, or another qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition, and before making decisions based on anything published on this Site.
CVF takes care to base published information on credible sources, but we cannot guarantee that content is complete, current, or applicable to your individual circumstances.
5. Community and membership
Our primary community is hosted via our Facebook support group. Membership of that group does not constitute legal membership of Clinically Vulnerable Families CIC under the Companies Act, and does not carry the rights or responsibilities of a formal company member. Use of our Facebook group is also subject to Facebook's own terms and policies, which we do not control.
6. Accessibility
We aim to make this Site as accessible and user-friendly as possible, and we work towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
